It is Christmas! A natural period to share your passion with the people that are important to you. Solex shares the joy of Tapas with the students of Madison Elementary School in Wheaton IL.
The second grade class of this school participates in a multicultural day in which their students have the opportunity to learn the most important aspects of different cultures. Spain and Spain’s unique gastronomy are a critical part of this event. Solex can not miss the opportunity to represent Spain and share its passion for foods from Spain and Spanish way of living.

Accompanied by a powerful flamenco dancer and a guitarist, students enjoy and learn how to design fun and tasteful Tapas. Solex Authentico Potato Omlette, Wheat Picos, Manchego Cheese and Olives from Andalucia are some of the ingredients to play with. These young foodies are transported through food, music and dance across the Atlantic Ocean to our beloved Spain. Who knows, maybe we have among one of them the next great Chef of Spanish cuisine.

This event could not have been done without the participation of Wholefoods Market in Maddison and the efforts of a loving mother Ms. Kirsten Borrink. From Solex we want to thank you for the opportunity to share our love for food and education of the Spanish Culture!

More events within our community to come in 2010!
